Lectures examine modern methodologies in animal capture with emphasis on bag-based containment systems as an alternative to traditional physical restraint techniques. Drawing on principles of animal behaviour, stress physiology, and applied wildlife management, the lecture evaluates how capture-techniques can reduce handling risk, minimise stress responses, and improve welfare outcomes during rescue, rehabilitation, and transport.
